MARA: GrEP 2019 and the results is now released!

Keputusan GrEP is now out guys! Congrats to those yang berjaya. Bagi yang tidak berjaya, mari la kita bersama-sama membuat surat rayuan..hahaha..bende boleh rayu, kenapa nak give up kan? 

 

Keputusan GrEP secara rasmi telah dimaklumkan kepada para pemohon pada 29.04.2019 melalui email dan pesanan ringkas (SMS). Yang tidak rasmi, hari Jumaat 26.04.2019 after 10.00pm actually dah boleh check di website MARA. Cerita daku, pagi-pagi subuh sabtu 27.04.2019 dengan meriahnye handphone ku penuh dengan message rakan-rakan seperjuangan GrEP bertanyakan khabar berita. Keputusan nya??? Permohonan daku tidak berjaya. Yessss TIDAK BERJAYA. 2 hari 2 malam daku menangis guling-guling. Mendung weekend ku. Mood memang ke laut dalam. hahahahaaa...

Jangan tanya daku kenapa permohonan ku tidak berjaya. Terlalu banyak kemungkinan yang pada daku memang xboleh di terima akal. Sedaya upaya daku cuba untuk menepati syarat-syarat yang MARA nyatakan. Plan since last year and prepare everything so that i wont missed anything. That's why I said, I really did my level best to meet their requirement. Unconditional LO, IELTS, Personality Test, CGPA, University, Course and etc. I guess, it just not my luck yet and Allah want me to keep usaha dan berdoa. 

 

Lepas je check my results, daku memang tidak tunggu lame. Terus je start mengarang surat yang daku sendiri tidak tahu mana perlu mula. A Formal Letter! Berkurun daku tidak karang kot. Tatabahasa memang out. Bekali daku baca dan perbetulkan before send the email to pascasiswazah. Dengan lafaz Bismillah, moga permohonan rayuan ku dipertimbangkan oleh pihak MARA. 

 

Oh Allah, please ease my journey! Moga hijrah kecilku dipermudahkan. Insyallah. Amin. 

MARA: GrEP (Graduate Excellence Program) 2019

Pada tahun ini, MARA telah membuka permohonan untuk pembiayaian pelajaran peringkat Master & PhD (dalam dan luar negara) di bawah Program Kecemerlangan Graduan (GrEP) 2019.

 

Tarikh permohonan dibuka pada 15/02/2019

Tarikh permohonan ditutup pada 25/02/2019

 

Syarat-syarat permohonan dan maklumat lanjut boleh didapati dengan melayari laman web MARA www.mara.gov.my. Berikut ialah senarai bidang pengajian yang ditawarkan dibawah skim GrEP.

Pada yang berjaya dalam peringkat saringan yang pertama, MARA telah menghantar email bermula pada 18/03/2019 hingga 22/03/2019 untuk memaklumkan pemohon untuk menduduki Ujian Personaliti. Ujian ini boleh diambil secara atas talian pada 20/3/2019, 21/3/2019 atau 22/3/2019.

 

Keputusan permohonan GrEP akan mula di war-warkan oleh pihak MARA dalam bulan April 2019.

Disclaimer: Cara setiap orang berbeza dan ini cara daku memohon untuk sambung belajar di luar Negara. Tiada yang betul atau salah aturan nya. Ikut keselesaan masing-masing ye. Panduan sedia ada di laman web boleh di jadikan asas titik tolak bermulanya usaha kita. Rajin membaca dan jangan malas hokey!

 

1. IELTS

Not all universities require IELTS but normally most of the top universities include this in their entry requirement. I took the exam in November 2018 at IDP Education Kuala Lumpur and the fee is MYR795.00. What a price huh? You have to ensure you achieve a certain band score according to the University you wish to apply for and the result is valid for up to 2 years only.

 

2. Eyeing the University

Decide what course you intend to do. Go browse all over from Google on which university is offering that course and make a list to compare. University ranking, reputation, fees, entry requirement, location, facility, scholarship and accommodation could be your factor to choose the right university for your study.

 

3. Prepare all the required supporting documents

Before you apply for the desired course, please ensure all the supporting documents are ready to ensure your application is not disrupted. “Ready means all been scanned” and it will make your life easier to upload all those documents before submitting the application. The documents are vary depending on the course applied. Typically, the University requires the following documents;

• Degree: This would usually be in the form of an academic transcript or certificate. If these documents aren't written in English, an official translation is needed.
• References:2 or 3 references are required to support the application. You may provide an academic reference or current employer as a reference who can give their opinion about yourself.
• Curriculum vitae/resume: Please give your latest CV to the University.
• English language certificate: It can be IELTS or TOEFL.
• Personal Statement: Basically, you should share why you choose that University and sell yourself! Telling them about your skills, experiences, goals and etc.  

 

4. Apply for the University

You may apply for the course directly through University or via an agent. For me, I would prefer to do it via an agent and I choose Interstudy Education Consultants Sdn Bhd to assist me. The University will issue you an unconditional or a conditional offer.

 

5. Scholarship

Now, you should be ready to hunt for the scholarship available in the market. Always be alert because normally the deadline of a scholarship is quite short. Apply as much as you can.

Study Overseas?

I have been planning to further my study overseas since I graduated from my undergraduate studies. OMG, how time flies and it's 10 years delayed!! Heyy, it is better late than never hokay. Well, why overseas? I dont have any specific reason but for me, it is to fulfil my big dreams (or actually I'm not ready yet to share with you guys...keke). I got the offer from the university in January 2019 and now still eyeing the list of the scholarships available in the market. Huuh, not much for postgraduate (taught course) so far. My only hope is MARA (Graduate Excellence Program: GrEP). According to MARA, the result will be released out somewhere in the second week of April. One word. Nervous!
